Rivet Apps announces end of Go! Expense Pro and Rivet Apps, Inc.

We regret to inform you that as of May 31, 2016, the Go! Expense Pro app will be removed from the App Store, and Rivet Apps, Inc. will be closing its doors. The reasons are explained, but first let’s cover the important information you need: the final app release and refund availability.

We will push one more release that will allow existing users to use Go! Expense Pro as a free, standalone app (data stored locally on device, no need to login, no subscriptions). We will add a receipt image export that will help you manage your receipt images outside of Go! Expense Pro. You can already export your expense data via the CSV export.

If you do not upgrade to the new release, the Go! Expense Pro app will stop working as the cloud services are shutdown. We will send an email notifying users of the final release availability since you will have until May 31, 2016 to download it from the App Store to continue using Go! Expense Pro.

If you obtain a new device after Go! Expense Pro is removed from the App Store, you can only put Go! Expense Pro and your data onto the new device as an iTunes/iCloud backup restore. Be sure to make an iTunes backup of your old device first, and then apply the restore. After May 31, 2016, you will not be able to download the app from the App Store once it is removed from the App Store.

We want our paying subscription customers to be aware that they are eligible for a full refund from Apple for any subscription purchases made within the last 90 days. Use this link for more information on how to request a refund from Apple. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084

For subscription purchases older than 90 days, you can request a refund by emailing Refund@RivetApps.com with your name, email address used in Go! Expense Pro, mailing address and approximate date of your subscription purchase. The refund DOES NOT include the original US$5 purchase price of the app if you purchased it before December 2015. Refund requests will be honored until May 31, 2016, and all refunds will be in U.S. currency.

As of this time, all support services are discontinued. The Support@RivetApps.com and Info@RivetApps.com email addresses are no longer being monitored by RivetApps personnel.
